Integrating Slack with Zams lets you connect team communication with automated actions. You can send and receive messages, search content, retrieve user or channel information, and even trigger Zams actions directly from a Slack channel. This helps streamline workflows and reduce manual communication tasks.

Connection Method

  • Authentication Type: OAuth Flow

  • Requirements:

    • A Slack workspace where you have permissions to install apps.

    • The Zams Slack App will be installed in your workspace.

  • Steps to Connect in Zams:

    1. Click Connect and follow the Slack OAuth sign-in flow.

    2. Grant Zams permission to access channels, messages, and user data (only within the scope you approve).

    3. Once complete, the Slack integration will be available for use in your agents.

Note: Zams cannot see private channels unless the bot is explicitly invited to them.
